Karen,

You're certainly welcomed; I really liked the Peter the Great article.

I still get confused about the different kinds of links, so if you figure it out and can explain it, please let me know! Every time I post something that has links to another site, I end out surfing around to try and figure out why they do what they do ... or sometimes don't seem to do anything ... and usually end out more confused.

I can relate to your comment about losing a post; it's happened to me more than once that I've gotten something written, then either it didn't post because my DSL disconnected, or worse, I clicked some wrong button and lost the whole thing. The best thing I've found to keep me from wasting time is to use Windows Live Writer, since it saves drafts automatically and helps keep me out of trouble... I think it supports Blogger, you might want to check it out.

Bye for now,

In the midst of trying to finally figure out the difference between a back link and a trackback, I came across your link back to my article. Thank you! I understand busy very well. I just realized that i haven't been back to the Blogging History discussion because there was a techie hitch and I don't have time to write posts that won't post. LOL!

Thanks, Cooper, once again, for your comments, and for the link back from your site. I’ll admit I haven’t figured out how to keep up with both my classes and the blog, since they’re going to compete for the same “free time” on evenings and weekends. But it was only a few years ago that I had to find ways to fit the classes into the rest of my life, and I got that down pretty good, so the blog will find its place soon enough.

Bye for now!

Life so often intervenes in blogging. I think, as I told kelleypea - one of my favorite if the only - blogging mothers I read, that for me a good blog is a good bog, and I'm going to read it whether or not the blogger makes rounds at my blog or responds to my comments or emails or not.

I read a variety of blogs, but find the most interesting blogs are from people who have a life outside of blogging and use it for their blog posts.

That you have other things to do will only make you the more worth reading.
